A Letter From The Alumni Association President

I’d like to take this opportunity to thank Hannah House for supporting and financing this cause, as well as the Alumnae Association Members for their dedication and commitment.  

Founded in 2001, the Hannah House Alumnae Association consists of former residents who have successfully completed the THEIRS and/or HERS programs. They have met the criteria of staying clean for 90 days, participating in and facilitating groups at Hannah House, and attending three consecutive Alumnae meetings.  Very small however, meaningful tasks, which demonstrates “the program works”!

As President, I have enjoyed the process of our development. We began with four members and have blossomed to over eighteen with three in the preliminary stages. As we share our experiences with the new residents, we reinforce in ourselves the importance of the program and its influence over our lives. Our giving back through our presence and participation can in no way be measured with what Hannah House has given us.

The stages we have grown through have bonded us as sisters and strengthened us as an organization. I have thoroughly enjoyed serving as President and I look forward to prospering as an organization in the future.
